At T&S dog grooming your dog’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing are always our priority.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following policies designed to ensure a smooth and positive experience for everyone.
Cancellations & changes
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments changed or cancelled within 24 hours may incur a $40 fee per dog, as this time has been specially reserved for your pup.
Missed appointments without notice (“no-shows”) will also incur a $40 fee per dog.
Appointments & Cancellations
Late Arrivals
To ensure every dog receives the full attention they deserve, we run on a carefully scheduled timetable.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may incur a $15 late fee, with additional fees applying per further 15 minutes.
Depending on timing, we may need to shorten the groom or reschedule the appointment. Standard service fees will apply.
Pick up - Policy
Once your dog is ready, we will notify you for collection.
We kindly request pick-up within one hour of notification. Dogs collected beyond this time may incur a $30 half-day care fee per dog, as supervision and space must be maintained for all guests.
Pricing & Coat Condition
Each dog is unique, and grooming time can vary depending on:
• Coat condition and level of matting
• Size and breed
• Temperament and handling needs
• Style requests and additional services
While we’re happy to provide an estimate, final pricing is confirmed once we assess your dog in person at drop-off.
Fleas & Parasites
For the wellbeing of all dogs in our care, any dog found with fleas or ticks will require a compulsory treatment, with an additional fee applied.
In cases of severe infestation, we may need to pause or discontinue the grooming session for hygiene and safety reasons.
Skin, Coat & Grooming Care
Occasionally, grooming may reveal underlying skin conditions, lumps, irritations, or sensitivities that were not visible beforehand.
Severely matted coats may need to be clipped shorter than originally requested to ensure your dog’s comfort. Removing matting can sometimes cause temporary skin sensitivity or mild irritation.
We always prioritise welfare over aesthetics.
Photography
With your consent, we may take photos or short videos of your dog to share on our website or social media. We love celebrating our beautiful clients
Safety & Responsibility
While every precaution is taken and dogs are handled with care and patience, grooming involves specialised tools and equipment. On rare occasions, minor nicks, clipper irritation, or stress-related reactions may occur.
By booking with us, you acknowledge that we cannot be held responsible for complications resulting from:
• Pre-existing medical conditions
• Undisclosed behavioural concerns
• Matted or neglected coats
• Fleas, ticks, or other parasites
Owners remain responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog to staff, equipment, or property.
