What houseplants are toxic to dogs?

I’m a big fan of plants — are you?

Greenery is so popular these days and plays a big part in brightening up our homes and giving us a sense of peace.

However, some common houseplants can be toxic to our fur babies if they bite or swallow them.

Signs of poisoning can include symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal pain, excessive drooling, and more.

But does that mean we can’t have plants and pets together?

Not at all! We can still enjoy both by placing plants out of reach, making sure our fur kids can’t get to them, and training them to leave the plants alone — just like we teach them not to mess with appliances or furniture.

Taking care of both plants and dogs can be a wonderful way to unwind and recharge after a busy day.

With a little care, we can have a happy, safe home filled with both greenery and wagging tails!
